The test can be conducted under defined laboratory conditions or practical outdoor conditions. Following the specified test period, the assessment includes evaluating the product’s degree of decomposition, environmental compatibility, and contamination due to product decay (via biotoxicity testing or chemical analysis).<\/p>

Overview<\/td>Hohenstein Inspection includes the measurement of aerobic biodegradability in soil for fiber products. Simultaneously,

It is possible to apply for a certificate or Hohenstein’s Biodegradable Certification Label. The requirements for label acquisition include achieving a mass loss rate of 90% or more within 12 months and passing the environmental toxicity assessment (cress test) with a germination rate of 70% or higher. Upon successful completion of the pre-application and inspection, you can apply for Hohenstein’s Biodegradable Certification Label (valid for 1 year).
