ZDHC, headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is driving the Roadmap to Zero program aimed at eliminating harmful substances from the textile, apparel, and footwear industries. ZDHC approaches the initiative from the aspects of Input, Process, and Output.

In the Input phase, the focus is on chemicals such as dyes, various additives, and processing agents. ZDHC conducts programs based on the ZDHC MRSL compliance guidance, including ChemCheck, InCheck, and Chemical Module Gateway. In the Process phase, ZDHC provides guidance on chemical management and advocates for management through Higg FEM. In the Output phase, programs based on ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines, such as Wastewater Module Gateway and ClearStream, are offered.

BOKEN provides training on chemical management and factory wastewater management based on ZDHC guidelines. In collaboration with Techno Science Co., Ltd., a ZDHC Factory Wastewater Analysis Certified Laboratory, actual analysis is conducted by Techno Science, while BOKEN provides advice on identifying non-compliance causes and developing improvement plans based on the analysis results.
